Therefore, the City Council, through the concessionaire company STV Gestión, is also carrying out an improvement in the image of these spaces with the pruning of the different palm trees of the municipality.

"What it is about is to review the state of the branches of the more than 2,300 palm trees that we have in Águilas so that when the neighbors look upwards they can also see the beauty and majesty that these animals have, which in many cases exceed 3 and 4 meters high, "explains the mayor of Service Providers, Isabel Fernández.

In Águilas there are around 600 specimens of Phoenix palms, 1200 Washingtonians and 500 generic palms.

This means that pruning works are carried out by pruners with a high qualification and certification that allows them to climb palm trees safely and effectively.

Specifically it is a team consisting of a truck crane, two operators to collect the dry branches and several pruners.
