The municipal building of El Placetón welcomes this afternoon a day of presentation of the Call for Helps LEADER for rural development.
A day organized by the Department of Local Development that will start at 7 pm
The Leader Aid program is financed through the European Agrarian Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), forming axis 4 of this policy, and since 2014 has evolved into "Participatory Local Development" (DLP), which can be applied not only to through the EAFRD but also through the European Fisheries Fund (EFF), the European Territorial Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF).
Among the purposes of this aid is: Increase competitiveness and growth;
employment creation;
Improve the level and quality of life of the inhabitants of rural areas and coastal areas;
Favor the sustainable occupation of the territory, with special attention to young people and women;
Diversification of the economy of the areas where participatory local development is applied by supporting SMEs, entrepreneurship and innovation;
Strengthen local governance and social animation;
and guarantee the sustainability of the activity, through the adequate use of natural resources.
