The House of Culture hosted the ASTEAMUR Association yesterday afternoon.
Noelia Frez Lpez, a psychologist specializing in neuropsychology and coordinator of this association, was in charge of the conference on TEA.
This talk "Autism Spectrum Disorder: What is it? How to detect it? What intervention to follow?", Explains the meaning of this disorder, provides key points for the interpretation of significant behaviors and proposes appropriate therapies for each person suffering from it.
In addition to this activity, it was announced the imminent implementation in Eagles of an ASTEAMUR headquarters, so that the families of the locality who have a member with this Autism Spectrum Disorder, do not have to move to Murcia, Cartagena or Lorca, where they are the main headquarters and, in this way, can follow a continuous and daily therapy in the municipality.
The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Health and Social Services, Rosala Casado and the mayor of Tourism, Gins Desiderio Navarro, accompanied the families in this talk and showed their unconditional support to their needs.
"The TEA is a reality and from the City of Eagles we are going to support this association so that the aguileas families who need it, may have in guilas a place to follow their therapies," said Moreno.
