Young people belonging to JEA (Juventud Estudiantil Aguileña) resume their visits and their contacts with the elders of the town.
They have visited the Residencia de Pensionistas Ferroviarios de Aguilas to donate films, magazines and prayer books, which in turn have been donated to the association by private individuals who have wanted to collaborate with the students in this new meeting.
Thus, on Friday, January 13, young members of the Youth Student Association Aguileña (JEA) received the affection and warmth of the elders of the Residencia de Pensionistas Ferroviarios de Águilas, despite the cold winter afternoon.
Taking up these moments of learning from them and with them, who already enjoyed the volunteering that was programmed last summer, which included activities both in the residence and on the beach.
The president of the youth association, Antonio Landáburu, affirmed that "to spend some time with the elderly of the residence is a very emotional and enriching experience", also invited all the young aquiline people to participate in the volunteers that JEA organizes.
"We were this summer, we organized solidarity workshops in order that the young people accompany and can acquire knowledge of the elderly," said Landáburu.
