The Region has hosted sporting events and 19 included in this joint plan of the ministries of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment and Culture and Spokesman, in which collaborates the Union of Sports Federations, and expects to end the year at least 33.

Fernandez-Delgado explained that the working line 'Tourism + Sports = Success' "is getting increasing occupancy rates of regional tourist establishments and is enhanced the image of Murcia as a sports destination at national and international level."

"This increase has been due to the actions identified in the plan of counseling, as well as new hotels such as the Hotel Cala Real Aguilas or Aguilas Hotel Resort," said Fernandez-Delgado.

The CEO said "positive results have been obtained occupancy in all tourist areas, both inside and coast" and the highest occupancy rate was recorded at hotels in La Manga, with 90 percent.
