"From an initial investigation into the life and customs of the families of students and knowledge of different art forms from various countries, we have created a final product: International Gastronomic Days" highlighted Maria Vela, project coordinator.
The activity began with a show in which students performed songs and dances from Spain and other countries.
Then we moved on to tasting the delicious dishes they had prepared the family assistants.
From school El Rubial ensure that this project is part of the school program venture of the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Trilema Foundation, have made diversity in the classroom an opportunity to learn.
Besides having a great result methodological proposal for students to advance their learning has helped them create collaborative networks with the community and the environment.
And most importantly: develop attitudes of respect and acceptance towards other people and cultures.
They attended college interested in the Maria Carmen Moreno, mayor of Eagle project;
Vicente Ruiz, Councillor for Education;
and Encarnacion Navarro, councilor representing the City in the center.
They did so after being in the Town Hall some original invitations made by the students, who took the initiative of inviting them.
