The popular mayor has detailed that "several years have passed since the new contract for the daily cleaning service, beaches and waste removal came into force, which has led to a series of changes that have generated many cleaning problems in the town".

"The citizens and the Popular Party in particular are not appreciating the improvement of the service promised by the Government team of Mari Carmen Moreno despite the fact that new vehicles, containers, etc.

have been acquired, and mainly because it is a lot more expensive for the municipal coffers and has a contract for a duration of 15 years, "Navarro explained.

The Popular Municipal Group has already raised different motions, requests and questions, interested in the state of the streets and containers of the municipality, but "they continue to find an answer yet." Navarro has indicated that "we have evidence that the company providing the service and, of course, its staff is highly involved in urban cleaning, beach cleaning and waste collection", but "after the 'choice policy 'of the new containers is generating many problems and emerging points of garbage deposits outside of them ".

In the words of Navarro, "from the Popular Municipal Group we consider necessary the convocation of this Commission so that the councilor delegate of the matter can realize how the implementation of the new service has been and why the notable increase in cost has not translated into an improvement for our neighbors ", emphasizing that" despite being much more expensive, with the promise that it would be better, we have poorer service.
