[The National Vaccination Plan will be the subject of a motion to the Ordinary Plenary in January (20/01/2021)

The next day 26 the Corporate Plenary of the City Council of �guilas will meet in its ordinary session in January.

Among the motions that will be debated, the Councilor for Citizens Donosa Bustamante has presented a proposal on the National Vaccination Plan, on which the mayor of Health, Mar�a Dolores Garc�a Albarrac�n, of the Municipal Group Socialist, has raised an amendment, according to which it will be voted "to urge the Regional Government to: Accelerate the vaccination campaign including the possibility of doing it during weekends and holidays in order to guarantee, as soon as possible, fully complete the vaccination of the groups already started, health and social health, as a sensitive group that are in the first line of care for patients with COVID -19, as well as initiating vaccination of all risk groups. Activate all available human and material resources, public and private, for tracing, carrying out diagnostic tests and vaccination points. Accept, in order to comply with points 1 and 2, the making available by the City Council of �guilas of the Fairgrounds, an offer that has been made repeatedly since the start of the pandemic. Require the collaboration of all certified health resources to carry out and speed up the vaccination campaign for the entire population, Armed Forces, other health professionals, with the aim of planning, coordinating and ensuring effectiveness of the National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19. Request within the scope of the Interterritorial Health Council the updating of a national vaccination strategy that allows the coordination and joint work of the Central Administration with the Autonomous Communities in relation to training.

"The availability and availability of health personnel, in order to advance the vaccination campaign with the appropriate speed". The aforementioned motion states that "the initial objectives, in relation to the vaccination of the population set by the Ministry of Health itself, speak of reaching the summer with at least 60% of the population (�) Health professionals, professional medical and nursing associations, have recalled throughout these days the importance of vaccination, pointing out that it is important to accelerate the process of vaccination due to the rebound in cases that we are experiencing in recent days.

(�) It is necessary for administrations to coordinate and establish a single frame of reference that regulates the role that these professionals should have , as well as the conditions in which they must do so ".
