The mayor of �guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has formally requested in writing to the Minister of Education, Mar�a de la Esperanza Moreno Revent�s, the installation of polycarbonate plates in the windows of the Institutes of the locality, since it is autonomous competition.
Just yesterday, the City Council proceeded to install these screens on the windows of the Aguileño schools, over which it does have municipal jurisdiction, with the aim of stopping air currents and minimizing cold ½o in the classrooms without interfering with the mandatory ventilation of the classes.
"We ensure the health and well-being of the entire educational community, for which reason we have asked the Ministry of Education that the students and teachers of the Institutes can also benefit from this measure, which has proven effective" Moreno has pointed out.
The Ministry has specific items for the maintenance and minor actions in the HEIs, which, together with the money from the COVID funds, will allow it to start the installation of these screens and other tools that alleviate the cold in classes.
