[Aguilas adds 22 new COVID positives (12/01/2021)

The town adds 22 new COVID positives in the last 24 hours.

The mayor of Aguilas has declared that "today's positive data in Aguilas are once again terrible and tomorrow's are expected even worse.

It is a shame that we want to fool ourselves, when we are in one of the worst moments of the Pandemic: 1.

When you have been in contact with a positive you have to isolate yourself immediately and call 900121212.

If you are awaiting the result of an Antigen or PCR test, you have to stay at YOUR HOME, isolated, you cannot go to the shops or have a coffee.

If the trackers call you, you have to tell THE TRUTH about the contacts you have had.

"Mari Carmen Moreno addressed the citizens of Aguilas, which currently has 85 active COVID cases, Most of them registered in recent days.

That is why it is insisted that the measures and restrictions imposed by the health authorities be respected.

These 85 positive cases have had close contact with 255 people, so ad as of today 340 people are confined.

Since yesterday the town has been in phase 2 of Extreme Risk, which entails, together with the restrictions that already existed, the closure of the hotel and the restriction of the free entry and exit of people from Aguilas, Except for properly justified trips, which occur for any of the following reasons, included in today's BORM: "a) Assistance to health centers, services and establishments.

b) Compliance with labor, professional, business, institutional or legal obligations.

c) Attendance at university, teaching and educational centers, including schools for early childhood education.

d) Return to the place of habitual or family residence.

e) Assistance and care for the elderly, minors, dependents, people with disabilities or especially vulnerable people.

f) Travel to financial and insurance entities or refueling stations in neighboring territories.

g) Required or urgent actions before public, judicial or notarial bodies.

h) Renewals of permits and official documentation, as well as other administrative procedures that cannot be postponed.

i) Taking official exams or tests that cannot be postponed.

j) Due to force majeure or situation of necessity.

k) Justified trips to airports, ports, train or bus stations to take or pick up passengers who make trips whose cause is justified under this Decree, as long as they have the status of direct relatives by consanguinity or affinity up to the second degree.

l) Any other activity of a similar nature, duly accredited ".

This same official document, in article 3, recalls the obligation of citizens to comply with these guidelines and the penalizing consequence of not doing so: "3.1 Citizens must actively collaborate in compliance with the measures provided for in this Decree.

3.2 Failure to comply with the provisions of this decree or resistance to the orders of the competent authorities may be sanctioned in accordance with the laws, in the terms established in article 10 of the Organic Law 4 / 1981, of June 1, of the states of alarm, exception and siege, as well as the provisions of Decree Law 8/2020, of July 16, which establishes the sanctioning regime for the failure to comply with the prevention and containment measures applicable in the Region of Murcia to face the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19 and other applicable regulations ".

We recall that the amounts of sanctions for breaching the rules are: Fine of 100 to 3,000 euros in case of minor offenses.

Fine of 3,001 to 60,000 euros for serious offenses.

Fine of 60,001 to 600,000 euros for very serious offenses.

Likewise, the penalty for not wearing a mask or making an inappropriate use of it will be 100 euros.
