The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has sent a letter to the president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Fernando L pez Miras, "so that they are taken into account in the drafting of the regional budgets some of the projects that are necessary and essential for the municipality of Aguilas, all of them competence of the Regional Government and that, in addition, we have been demanding insistently for several years both from the City Council of Aguilas and from own citizenship ".

Specifically, Moreno has requested the construction of the roundabout at the intersection of the RM D14 and D15 highways, regionally owned roads whose project has been elaborated for years in the General Directorate of Roads, also counting with the availability of the land by the City Council.

Another of the actions that the mayor has asked to be included in the regional budgets is the improvement of the entrance to the Barrafuerte Industrial Estate, which, as in the previous case, has the necessary land available and a project already drafted, in the absence, only, of having the necessary budget for its execution.

The improvement of the road surface of the RM D-15 highway in the Pedan a de Calabardina section, as well as in the Vera and Calle Iberia highway, all of which are regionally owned, has been another of the demands of the president Aguileña to President López Miras.

In the same way, the mayor recalled that the expansion of the Eguilas Wastewater Treatment Plant is also on the list of projects that have already been drawn up by the General Directorate of Water but neither has been executed.

Finally, Moreno has insisted on what he has described as "the pending issue of this Regional Government with the municipality of Aguilas", referring to the construction of the Comprehensive High Resolution Center for which the Government de la Regi n "has, since March 2018, the land assigned by the City Council." function { ;(, , {});}
