The Secretary of State for Tourism, through the SICTED project, supports participating tourist establishments during the adaptation process to return to normal after the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
For this purpose, the SICTED Advanced Good Practices have been created to reduce the risk of contagion by the SARS-CoV-19 coronavirus in the tourism sector.
These Good Practices have been adapted from the Guidelines for reducing the risk of contagion by the SARS-CoV-19 coronavirus in the tourism sector prepared by the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism Quality Spanish (ICTE).Despite the bad situation we are going through due to the pandemic, Águilas has been one of the few municipalities in the Region of Murcia that this year has continued with the SICTED project and also, although it is optional, practically all establishments Members have opted for the SICTED Special COVID-19 Cycle, in order to continue their desire to improve the quality of their establishments and services.At the moment, there are 8 establishments and services that have implemented and passed an external evaluation, which guarantees strict compliance with all the requirements contained in the Advanced Good Practices SICTED COVID-19, to offer their customers a safer service.-Anabel López Belmonte.
