In the next ordinary plenary session to be held on Tuesday, November 24, three motions have been registered by the different political groups, to request measures to support the hospitality sector, one of the sectors most affected by this terrible COVID 19 pandemic.

The Mayor has proposed to all political groups to approve a joint proposal, in which the different Administrations are asked for measures aimed at alleviating the terrible situation that this sector is going through, due to restrictions, including the closure it is suffering.The Mayor states that "it is time to reach agreements for the benefit of the hospitality sector, with concrete and viable measures that can be put in place, instead of bringing partisan proposals that the only thing they will achieve will be for both political parties to discuss without reaching measures that our hospitality industry needs immediately ", he adds that" it is time to negotiate and put aside our differences ", because that is what the sector and all citizens expect.This proposal would include measures requested from the Government of Spain, such as non-refundable aid to hoteliers who have been forced to temporarily close their establishments, the extension for six months of the flat rate to self-employed hoteliers or the reduction of contributions to their social security.
