The Councilor for Health satisfied that the motion presented for this plenary session on the restitution of the Obstetrics and Gynecology service in Águilas is a reality as of November (23/10/2020)

Last week the Government team registered a motion to the Plenary of October asking the Management of Area III the restitution of a necessary service for the municipality of Águilas and that was suppressed when the pandemic began. This basic health service for the women of Águilas could not continue without being provided because it meant that for any revision of a pregnant woman they had to travel to Lorca. The Gynecology and Obstetrics service was launched in Águilas in 1989 and has worked extremely well, thanks to all the professionals who have been providing their service in it. Today we know that this motion has had a positive result, even before its debate, since we are informed that this service will begin to be provided again from next November, for which we want to thank Area III Management for its prompt action in the restitution of this service and all the professionals who are going to return to Águilas to carry out the Gynecology and Obstetrics service.
