The Association Friends of Culture of Águilas and the Department of Culture of the City of Águilas, with the collaboration of the Cajamurcia Foundation, have organized an artistic action that will be carried out by the painter Javier Lorente.This renowned painter from Pozo Estrecho will paint a picture live from a corner of the central Glorieta de Águilas.
The work will have dimensions of 100 * 100 centimeters on board and acrylic painting.
Aquilians and visitors will be able to enjoy this creation from Friday 9 to Monday 12 October, with the completion of the work scheduled for the afternoon of this day.
Javier Lorente will paint the atmosphere of this square, its people and some unique building.The painter has participated in Outdoor Painting Contests all over Spain that are turning him into a true traveling artist and recognized artistic ambassador of the Murcia Region.Javier Lorente, also known for his photographic side, has been a painting teacher since 1987, poster artist and painter since the age of 13 when he made his first solo exhibition, the result of his work in the workshop of the Cartagena painter Enrique Gabriel Navarro.
He has obtained numerous awards and distinctions and has exhibited in numerous venues inside and outside the Region.
