The Municipal Government of Mari Carmen Moreno votes against the measures presented by the PP to support the agricultural, commercial and hospitality sectors of Águilas (30/09/2020)

| Reverte: "A bad manager hides himself in the budget balance instead of sitting down and looking for solutions , we have proposed bonuses, not to totally eliminate that income "| The PSOE looks the other way and does not recognize the problem of illegal squatting of homes in Águilas by voting against our proposal. The PP once again asks the mayor to reconsider her position of refusing everything proposed by the municipal opposition groups Águilas, September 30.

"The Government team of Mari Carmen Moreno demonstrates, yet another plenary session, with its attitude and the continuous blockade that unity is far from being one of the characteristics of this legislature," the spokesperson for the Municipal Popular Group has told the City Council, Eva Reverte. "Moreno and his team have voted against the battery of economic measures presented by the popular to support the main economic sectors of our town, such as agriculture, commerce and hospitality," Reverte detailed.

"Alluding to and hiding behind the budget balance, they have voted against this motion, thus demonstrating their null management capacity," said Reverte, who believes that "the most logical thing is to sit down and study each one of them and decide the type of bonus and balance the budget, while helping the aquilineans who are suffering the bilateral damage of the COVId-19 crisis ". Regarding illegal squatting of homes, the Popular Party, the PP, has shown its surprise at the vote against the government team, since "denying that in Águilas we also have a problem in this regard is undoubtedly looking the other way, or to follow as always the opinion of its acronyms, putting them before the aquilineans ", explained the leader of the PP. In the words of the councilor "to urge the Government of Spain to promote the appropriate legal reforms in order to combat in an agile and effective way the illegal squatting of homes in our municipality and thus guarantee the right to property, the safety of people and goods and social coexistence, is what we requested in our motion and what the PSOE has opposed, based on some arguments that we have not yet managed to decipher.

" Reverte thanked the support of all the groups for his motion to make Águilas a more inclusive municipality, through a universal language, in such a way that, "supporting the proposals that are necessary and positive for our municipality is what we councilors of the PP, come from the group that they come, and go directed to the administration that they go, because we reiterate that our commitment is with the citizens of Aguilas ". Requests and questions "In the section of requests and questions we have presented the demands that come directly to us from our neighbors," the councilor specified.

In addition, issues such as the improvement in the distribution of positions and security measures in the Weekly Market were discussed; the restoration and improvement of the surroundings of the Plaza and fountain of Caño de Los Arcos; the expansion of parking for bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles; know if it will offer cultural programming for this new station, under COVID regulations; or the review of water bills, which has increased during these months. Similarly, several issues related to cleaning, such as the improvement of the containers in the districts, the disappearance of the containers in the Plaza Juan XXIII, the poor condition of the surroundings of the hermitage of "La Virgencica", in the Urbanization "El Hornillo ", the neglect of the bike path; or the price of the new containers.
