The PP denounces the lack of control of the government team by not adhering to the forest fire prevention plan (23/06/2020)

| Reverte: "Due to our climate and the characteristics of our forest, it is a real madness that Águilas is left out of a such important preventive action "| Eagles, June 23.

The Popular Party of Eagles has denounced the lack of control of the government team of Mari Carmen Moreno by not adhering to the City Council to the Special Plan for the Protection of Emergencies for Forest Fires in the Region of Murcia (Plan Infomur). The spokesperson for the Popular Party, Eva Reverte, has expressed her concern upon learning that, by decision of the Government team, Eagles is left out of the Infomur Plan through which the procedures for the action of resources and distribution are regulated, to protect to people, property and the environment in the face of fire risks in the Region of Murcia, and "it is not acceptable that we do not participate, as we have been doing every year". "We cannot understand, nor will any citizen conceive it, that the city council of Águilas refuses to receive a subsidy of around € 7,000, taking into account that our municipality has a large forest mass, and a mountain range with species of flora and fauna that we must protect, so we are going to ask the government team for explanations, "the councilor pointed out. Reverte has pointed out that "this is one more example of the sit-down policy and the lack of coordination in decision-making in Águilas, an error that we can pay dearly in the event of a fire, which is common due to high temperatures that are supported locally during the summer season, and how dehydrated our environment is.
