Ginés Desiderio Navarro, Councilor for Tourism, and Toñi Calvo, technician from the Tourism Office, participated in the Águilas Town Hall. The organization was carried out in panel mode, intervening as panelists:Isabel Oliver: Secretary of State for Tourism.Miguel Mirones: President of ICTE.Concepción Martín de Bustamante: President of the Spanish Association of Labor Prevention Services (AESPLA).Alfonso Rodríguez: President of the Tourism Commission of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), and Mayor Calviá.Manuel Muñoz: Secretary General for Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía.Francesc Colomer: Autonomous Secretary of Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana.Román Rodríguez: Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Xunta de Galicia.Cristina Sánchez: Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports for the Region of Murcia.During the meeting, a work agenda was developed to put into practice the 19 Specifications (protocols) for many other tourism sectors, ranging from hotels to beaches, through tourist offices, protected areas, museums and monuments and golf courses.

, among others, in approximately three weeks, with the competition of employers from each tourism sector, state, autonomous and local administrations and majority unions in the tourism sector, preparing 19 documents that must be reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Health. These 19 specifications are easy and quickly implantable, since they must protect not only the personnel of tourist companies and services and tourists, but also the people who live in tourist areas, in the fastest and most efficient way.

effective as possible.

For this, it is necessary to intensify public-private collaboration and state and European financing to municipalities and companies, in order for the implementation to be complete. It is made clear that we are not talking about "stamps", but rather standardized protocols for the whole of Spain, so that we can once again open ourselves to tourism in a secure way, to national tourism in the first instance and, later, to community and international tourism.A reflection is also made about not playing with the "Safe Destination" or "COVID Free" concept and that the best marketing is to tell the truth, that is, that we have implemented protocols that, if everyone, including those who visit us We comply, they help us prevent COVID-19, since such a seal can create false expectations that can turn against destinations in the event of a case being declared.
