On the occasion of the commemoration, on April 23, of the International Book Day, the Department of Culture and Education have organized a school literary contest under the motto "I tell you my emotions during confinement".

"Due to the exceptional situation in which we currently live and not wanting to miss the celebration of Book Day in our town, we are going to do it differently, since reality is also true, but with the same enthusiasm as always", have indicated from the organizing councils.

In the contest they will be able to participate, individually and with a single work, all the students of 5th and 6th of Primary, of Secondary Education and of 1st and 2nd of Baccalaureate;

establishing three categories: Participants of 5th and 6th of Primary;

ESO participants;

Participants of 1st and 2nd Baccalaureate.

COMPETITION RULES:

Theme and presentation:

• The works will consist of creating a text based on the experiences, situations and reflections lived during these days of confinement at home.

We want to know how you feel and manage your emotions in this atypical situation.

• The maximum length will be 3 folios printed on one side, written by computer, 12 font and with double line spacing.

• The name, course, age of the participant and center in which they study and a contact telephone number will be indicated at the top of the work.

Deadline and place of presentation:

The delivery period will end on Thursday, April 30, 2020.

The decision of the winners will be announced on Monday, May 25 through the page of the City Council of Águilas.

Awards:

A single prize is established per modality.

The winners will be presented with a batch of books that will include works with an aquiline theme.

Awards:

The award ceremony of the winning works will be on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, with the venue of the event to be specified, taking into account the evolution of current circumstances.

In the same act, the winners will read their works.
