The mayor of Consumption, Encarna Navarro, has informed, through the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), of the rules so that citizens who have reduced their income or are unemployed by the COVID-19
WHEN TO REQUEST IT?
The moratorium on mortgages may be requested in cases of economic vulnerability up to 15 days after the validity of the Royal Decree Law, which is one month, renewable under the circumstances.
WHERE?
The request must be submitted to the financial institution together with the documents that prove the vulnerable situation.
VULNERABILITY ASSUMPTIONS:
a) Unemployed workers.
b) Entrepreneurs or professionals who have a substantial loss of their income or a substantial drop in their sales.
c) Family units whose income does not exceed, in general, the limit of three times the IPREM (Multiple Effects Public Income Indicator).
The limit will be increased according to the dependent or dependent children or relatives who are in charge of the applicant.
d) The mortgage payment plus basic expenses and supplies must be greater than 35% of the net income received by all the members of the family unit.
e) The family unit must have suffered a significant alteration in its economic circumstances, as a result of the health emergency.
INTERESTS AND FEES.
While the moratorium lasts, the anticipated fee will not be paid, nor the part of the capital, nor the interest (neither fully nor even in a percentage).
In addition, the early maturity clause will not apply, nor will the default interest stated in the contract.
WHEN DOES THE MORATORIAM END?
The payment of the installments is transferred into the future, in such a way that the mortgage will extend over time for the same period that said moratorium has been effective.
