The Ministry of Health is conducting medical telephone monitoring of all possible cases of Covid-19 and contacts of positive cases.
In total, more than 15,400 people are called to check how they are, how they evolve or if symptoms appear.
In the specific case, in the absence of data by municipalities, in Area III of Health, to which guilas belongs, along with Lorca, Puerto Lumbreras, Totana and Aledo, it registers a total of 850 POSSIBLE cases;
all of them being people who, despite not having undergone the test, have symptoms compatible with the coronavirus and, therefore, carry out confinement, without any exception, for 14 days to avoid possible infections.
In addition, also in Area III, 922 other people who are contacts of positive cases are monitored and remain in quarantine and observation in their respective homes.
This new telephone healthcare service is provided from health centers with the aim that all these people follow the recommendations and have the healthcare they require at all times.
