The Department of Tourism informs in several languages ​​about the new order that declares the suspension of opening of tourist accommodation to the public (20/03/2020)

Yesterday, Thursday March 19, the SND / 257/2020 Order, which declared the suspension of opening to the public of tourist accommodation establishments (hotels and similar accommodations, declared its suspension in the Official State Gazette). tourist accommodation and other short-stay accommodation, camping sites, caravan parks and other similar establishments, located anywhere in the national territory).

In the same it is indicated that, exceptionally, the provision of surveillance, security and maintenance services in these establishments is allowed, as well as the accommodation of clients who, at the time of the declaration of the state of alarm, were hosted in a manner stable and seasonal (provided that its occupants have the infrastructures, in their own living spaces, to carry out the activities of first necessity in the terms established by Royal Decree 463/2020).

It should also be noted that the closure will take place at the moment in which the establishment does not have clients to attend to and, in any case, within a maximum period of seven calendar days from the entry into force of this regulation.

The mayor of Tourism of the City Council of Águilas, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, has pointed out that "from the Department of Tourism of the City Council of Águilas is being informed of this Order the tourist establishments of our locality and information will be generated in several languages ​​for its clients" .
