Users of Social Services will continue to receive all the aid they are beneficiaries of (17/03/2020)

Given the health emergency situation and the need to adopt preventive measures to avoid contagions, the Águilas City Council announced a few days ago the closure of municipal buildings to the public;

measure that, in some cases, has generated some uncertainty among users of Social Services.

The Mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, wanted to address all of them, appealing for calm since "the service is guaranteed and continues to be provided by telephone 968 109 700".

Regarding the food delivery service, since the State of Alarm decree that conditions the mobility of people only in exceptional cases, this is being carried out at home by volunteers from Civil Protection and the Red Cross;

institutions that the mayor has wanted to thank for the work and effort they are making these days.

Finally, the first mayor of Aguileña has once again reminded all citizens "of the importance of complying with the preventive measures decreed and not leaving home except for work, medical-sanitary reasons or the acquisition of basic necessities, since- he has stated - stopping the coronavirus is everyone's responsibility.
