The Agrasa company has just communicated to the legal representatives of the field, warehouse and office workers its intention to proceed to initiate a collective dismissal procedure that will affect all workers.
After the announcement, the first mayor of Aguileña, Mari Carmen Moreno, wanted to show her absolute solidarity with all the workers who have been affected by this situation.
"From this moment the City Council makes available to all of them the resources we have from the local administration" - said Moreno.
It should be noted that, in recent weeks, both the mayor and the mayor of Agriculture, Bartolo Hernández, have been in daily contact with both the company and the workers' union representatives in view of the worrying situation that arose;
Likewise, this morning the mayor and the mayor met with the workers who were on an indefinite strike in the immediate vicinity of the agricultural company.
