Open the tender process for the second phase of the pilot project for the creation of a 30,000-meter indigenous forest park included in the Life Adaptate program (23/07/2019)

The tender process for the second phase of the pilot project of the Life Adaptate project to improve climate change adaptation in the municipality of Águilas ends on August 1.

Specifically, the open bidding process is aimed at creating an indigenous green area of 30,000 meters in the ring road next to the municipal cemetery.

The pilot action to be implemented in the municipality consists in the creation of a wooded area with drip irrigation from water from the wastewater treatment plant.

To this end, a first phase is being developed in which the necessary work is being carried out for the collection, pumping, storage and conduction of purified water from the municipal treatment plant.

The recreational forest area project proposes a tour of different plant formations that appear in different bioclimatic floors of the Murcia region.

For this, those formations that are estimated to have an ideal development due to the location where the project is carried out have been selected.

In the same way, it will have a bike-pedestrian lane and walkways and viewpoints that will allow it to be converted into a recreational and educational space.
