The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the director of the ITREM Promotion Office, Kristian Kamplade, yesterday presented the "Águilas Tourism" App, on the technological basis developed by ITREM and the content provided and managed by the Tourism Department of Eagles.
A tourist tool to facilitate the holiday experience of the people who visit our town.
The application, which once installed displays a menu of ten sections, provides information related to the agenda of activities, nearby places of interest, routes, accommodations, restaurants and information about the Carnival, beaches and museums;
all completed with a geolocation map that shows our location and everything we can find around us.
One initiative - said Moreno - that "is another step to make Águilas an intelligent tourist destination" and that is added to the actions already developed as the redesign of the tourist website of the town;
the launch of the first municipal page of tourism in English of the entire Region;
the opening, also for the first time in the Region, of new channels of communication through WhatsApp and Telegram;
or the renewal of QR panels to include information in different languages.
The meeting was attended by 20 representatives of tourism companies from Águilas, as well as representatives of HosteÁguilas and the Águilas Tourism Office.
It also served to present the "white label" App aimed at tourist accommodation and activity companies that offers these companies the possibility of having their own personalized App from the same basic design and the Business Intelligence Platform "Motriz" It offers tourist companies and local administrations detailed and segmented information, in real time, both of own tourist data, as complementary offer and other tourist destinations.
