"

In this regard, the mayor of Urbanism recalled that already in August 2015 the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, held the first meeting with the then president of the Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, who asked him to "act quickly in this issue".

Subsequently, in December 2016, the provisional approval of the PGOU was put to a vote in the Plenary;

moment in which the PP, far from showing its support, decided to abstain.

Later, in July 2017, after provisional approval by the Plenary despite a new abstention from the PP, the mayor personally moved to Murcia to deliver the document to the then secretary general of the Ministry of Public Works, Yolanda Muñoz, a which again urged on the need for the final approval of the PGOU.

After the last two provisional approvals by the Plenary in October 2018 and February 2019, again with the abstention of the popular aquilines, the document was again sent to the Autonomous Community together with the request, by Moreno, for an urgent meeting with the president, Fernando López Miras, and the Minister of Development, Patricio Valverde;
