A total investment of 307 million euros and the creation of 5,133 jobs for ten years (513 per year) are the data that were unveiled yesterday at the presentation of the Playa de La Cola project of the real estate group TM, a leading company in residential tourism European and promoter, among others, of the performance Mar de Pulpí in Terreros.
The Partial Plan Beach of the Tail, whose term of execution is foreseen of ten years, pretends to be an example of sustainable development - they showed yesterday, during the presentation of the same, Cristóbal Ruiz, director of Urbanism of TM, and Agustín Rodríguez, architect of the project - an example of this are the 270,000 square meters of public natural park in which more than seven kilometers of scenic route are included along natural paths equipped with viewpoints and picnic areas;
130,000 square meters of public parks and gardens;
2.5 kilometers of bike lane;
and more than 400,000 meters of public free spaces.
In addition, the construction of a kilometer-long coastal park with sports and leisure areas is planned, as well as a plot for hotel use.
The action will be completed with 2,313 tourist homes, which will make Águilas a deseasonalized destination, generating employment and wealth;
3,484 public parking spaces and a boulevard with two lanes in each direction for direct access to the urban center of Calabardina.
After the presentation, both the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, as the mayor of Town Planning, Tomás Consentino, agreed to describe as "important for our municipality" a project that, assured Consentino, "will be an important economic injection for the local economy, betting , in addition, clearly for sustainable development ".
