The House of Culture Francisco Rabal yesterday hosted a screening of the short films in the Short participants with Violence Contest, organized by the Department of Equality on the occasion of the 25th commemoration of the International Day Against Violence Against Women.
The event marked the start with the participation of Antonia Reche, coach of Women's Center, which highlighted the large turnout this year, with a total of 29 entries were received which, in his words, "much more difficult the work of the jury ".
After viewing all the works, where the common note was the rejection of any form of abuse and the positive message that is output to these situations, the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayors of Equality and Education Isabel Maria Torrente and Vicente Ruiz, proceeded to the awards:
Special mention to short: No to gender violence and Alfonso Escámez IES IES Confidence King Charles III.
First prize: IES Elicrisfran Europe.
Second Prize: Dare IES Europe.
Third Prize: IES Margem Europe.
