Students in secondary schools of the town since yesterday are recipients of a new awareness campaign launched by the departments of Services Companies, within which is included housekeeping, Environment and Education.

Under the motto "Reduce, Recycle, Reuse" a group of monitors of the town are developing this project which aims, as a priority, knowing the proper use of the different separation of packaging containers and raise awareness of conservation clean the municipality and like waking attitudes and behaviors for a municipality with sustainability criteria.

In this sense, Isabel Fernandez, mayor of Services Companies, stressed that "the first action within this project was to provide recycling bins to schools in the town, a performance that is now complete with the launch of these workshops ".

For Fernandez "awareness is essential and work in coordination with schools and colleges of the town is the only way to ensure the success of this project."

Using an active and participative methodology seeks to raise awareness in a practical way on the reuse of packaging, recycling and reduction of environmental impact this entails.

Thus, the workshop began with a first training block through role-playing in which students interpret situations related to recycling;

then a green route, signaling with different recycled containers the way to the center was created materials;

and finally he held a gymkhana in which students had to use their knowledge of recycling to reach the goal.
