White painter internationally known, Pedro Cano presented yesterday in Aguilas, coinciding with the feast of the Virgin of Carmen, his exhibition "Fish".
The exhibition, jointly organized by the City of Aguilas, Cajamurcia Foundation and Pedro Cano Foundation, contains a collection of 24 works that Pedro Cano pays homage to the fish and fruits of these Mediterranean waters that bathe us and the painter links the eldest sign of Christianity.
In the opening ceremony, the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, thanked the generosity that Pedro Cano had with Eagles.
"You've managed to move the paper, with great skill and sensitivity, the best fruits that gives our sea are also the basis of our food culture," stated Moreno.
In the same artistic frame, attendees were treated to a small repertoire of Bach through a piano and clarinet concert by Carmen Vidal and Angel Lopez.
The surprise came when some verses that our universal actor Francisco Rabal, dedicated to the painter blanqueño occasion of an exhibition of "scarlet" is recited.
As a complementary activity to the exhibition, Pedro Cano has given this morning watercolor workshop in Glorieta aimed at children and adults in which took part a large group of young artists who, under the direction of Cano, have reproduced the different nature fish of our coast.
After the activity all works have been exhibited in the square of Spain.
