Bartolome Hernandez informed the Electoral Board of his intention to give up its act of councilman in the City of Eagle (10/06/2015)

The acting mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, has informed the Electoral Board of his intention to resign his act of councilman in the Consistory aquiline, ahead of the 2015-2019 legislative session beginning on 13 June.

As explained Hernández "this is a considered decision that responds to the election results last May 24," where the candidate of the Popular Party headed by him did not receive the majority support of the citizens of Eagles.

Recall that in these elections the PP won a total of 6,033 votes, 350 less than the PSOE, so popular that the number of councilors in the City will increase from the current 12 to 9 on the next political year, with the Socialists in charge Government established.

Also, the Eagles formations can and Earn Eagles managed a councilor each, completing the 21 councilors of the municipal corporation.

The acting mayor thanked the support of all those who have helped to take forward many initiatives for the benefit of the town, especially at a time of great economic difficulty, as well as all citizens who put their trust in him, giving the opportunity to do things for Eagles and represent with dignity in different forums.

Bartolome Hernandez said he does not feel a special attachment to the chairs and that his only interest was to perform actions that contribute to improving Eagles and the quality of life of the aquiline, since it does not have political aspirations beyond have worked in favor of its people, expending every effort he asserted Hernández.
