The students of "eco-schools Coastlines" visit the railway heritage of Eagles (22/04/2015)

Education Councilman Consistory aquiline, Francisco Clemente, and sporting director of the Nautical Club of Eagle, Juan Pedro Pérez-Castejón, accompanied yesterday afternoon a group of students from the school program "Coastal eco-schools" during his tour of various important points related to the existing railway heritage in the town.

In this program over two hundred students from 3rd to 5th participate Elementary from different schools in the town Education.

Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 16-18 hours conducting guided by cultural and natural heritage of the town, complemented by teaching exercises within the school visits.

The school first visited the railway museum, located in the basement of the train station, later moving to the new route that was created after rehabilitation of the bridge and tunnel Stove, and the path that communicates to reach the viewpoint of the pier of the same name.

As indicated Francisco Clemente, thus fulfilling the goals of "eco-schools Coastlines" awareness, education and knowledge of cultural and environmental heritage of Eagles is clear.

This program also allows children know the bond you have with the sea eagles, they know what the beginnings of the city were and how to care for it as a whole, developing a relationship with the natural habitat and actively contributing to the protection, preservation and improvement of the environment, among many others.
