The mayor of the City of Eagle Woman, Maria Patrocinio Martinez, visited this morning the CEIP Las Lomas, which was held the theatrical performance of 'Pepin' Juan Lloret Gregori, performed by local company 'Imagine Entertainment' .
Upon arrival, the council was received by the center's director, Fina Ramirez, with whom he toured the various departments of the school, later to watch this film directed to students in sixth grade of primary education.
It is framed in the program of events, coordinated by the Consistory aquiline, to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women initiative.
Through a careful staging, school instills the importance of an education in values and respect towards women, since from the delegate council of this area defend the need to promote, from early childhood activities that focus on equality rights and the rejection of any kind of violence.
Performances will continue through this week in different schools, along with other events aimed at raising public awareness of this problem.
So, tomorrow Tuesday, November 25, from 11 to 13:30, the Municipal Center for Women will install an information table at the Plaza of Spain, in which solidarity ties will be distributed and will be announced the resources that now have women who are abused.
At 12 hours, across from City Hall and the presence of local and regional authorities, a minute of silence will be observed in memory of the women who were murdered by their partners or former partners.
