The Musical Patronage Columbine prepares to celebrate the feast of St. Cecilia (13/11/2014)

The mayor of Culture and Heritage of the City of Eagle, Francisco Miguel Martinez, president of Musical Patronage Columbine, Ramón Rubio, presented the program of activities has been organized to commemorate the feast of St. Cecilia, patron saint of musicians.

Martinez and Rubio stressed the uniqueness under this year's lineup of events will be held, as it includes the act of delivering the distinction of Honorary Citizen of Eagle Juan Rojo Garcia, director of the titular band and music school Musical Patronage Columbine 'Francisco Diaz Romero'.

That night, at 20 pm in the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena, Santa Cecilia special concert by the symphonic band holder, led by Juan Rojo Garcia, and the school band, led by Ginés Ramirez González.

Similarly, will debut the 'Eagles Jazz' group, composed of components of Trustees.

During the ceremony, diplomas of income to be provided to new members of the bands and musicians in recognition of 25 years old as well as the distinction of Adopted Son of John Red Eagle.

Before concluding the press conference, the mayor of Culture and Heritage wanted to take this opportunity to praise the work performed by the Columbine Musical Trust, an institution that, according to Martinez 'has an important educational work in the town and brings nearly forty years Eagles spread the name through different parts of geography '.
