Spanish Red Cross in Eagles 3 rescues swimmers in Matalentisco (31/07/2014)

Effective Spanish Red Cross Eagles have rescued three swimmers on the beach Matalentisco at 19:15 am Friday, when the Plan Coverage Beaches (COPLA) the City of Eagle had now ended.

A Call Center Near and Coordination Red Cross in Murcia alerted Base First Aid organization in the city, several swimmers who were in serious difficulties to return to the shore due to the strong current that prevailed in the eastern side of that beach.

Immediately, several Water Rescuers Spanish Red Cross Eagles addressed the reporting area by sea, while an All Terrain Rapid Intervention Group did the same by land to provide coverage to their peers and assist in the aid of affected.

Thanks to rapid intervention, rescued three swimmers, AAM of 22 years and BA both CPM and 14, were taken safely without incident and without having to get back healthcare.

Moreover, LS vessels Titania, based in Aguilas, and Algenid Salvamar based in Garrucha, assigned to Sasemar, are from 21:00 hours immersed in the rescue of a ship that has run aground without government against the shore locality of Terreros Almeria.

Although the ship does not carry a crew of both boats shipwreck rescue attempt to prevent pollution prevention that may arise from happening and protect the marine environment of the area.
