Carlos Lesmes, Chief Justice and the General Council of the Judiciary opens a course at the University of the Sea (16/07/2014)

"Criminal justice in Spain" is the title of a course at the International University of Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum taking place in the town of Águilas from 21 to 24 July.

It has the address Conde Fernando Jiménez López and Julio Siguenza.

The activity seeks to analyze, to the maximum extent possible, some of the main issues that are appealing in relation to the Spanish criminal justice.

To this end, it will include the involvement of frontline personalities in this area belonging to the university chair, the judiciary, the prosecution and defense.

To complete this analysis, the mornings will be devoted to examining from a critical point of view and practical various criminal trials specially recorded for the School of Legal Practice in Murcia.

The inaugural conference will pronounce Lesmes Carlos Serrano, President of the Supreme Court and the General Council of the Judiciary, who will speak on "The organization of courts in the new draft Organic Law of Judicial Power", while the closing will be provided by Fernando Great, President of the Criminal Chamber of the Audiencia Nacional.
