More than 200 people attended last weekend at the charity dinner organized by the Association for the Defence of the history and traditions of Calabardina, which is held annually with the aim of raising funds for the celebration of the Feast of the Cross May, an event that in this 2013 will take place on 4 and 5 May in this hamlet known aquiline.
Mayor Eagles, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, and several councilors of the municipal corporation clothed this massive event held at the restaurant "Golden Eagle", which gave the traditional "silver crosses" the association awarded every year to different people.
During the ceremony, the village elder, Nicholas Bonaque, gave a donation to the Parish Caritas director of San José, Salvador Hernandez, and won the Silver Cross of Calabardina to: Celia Lloret, Juana Lopez, Maria José Lobo, Marita Perez and Juan Oliver.
