The City of Eagle improving road signs in various streets of the city (03/04/2013)

The Department of Transportation, Public Safety and Emergency Hall of Eagles, has reported the completion of the work to improve the horizontal and vertical signaling in several areas of the town, among which are the Barrio Colón and streets Iberia and King Carlos III.

These actions, carried out by the Office of Road Signs local police, have included the improvement, replacement and replacement of existing signs from the entrance to the town (next to Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel) to Plaza Spain.

The total cost of the work is around 5,000 euros, replacing about 150 road signs and painting some 1,500 linear meters with several new crosswalks.

As indicated by the mayor of this area, Francisco Clemente "some of the signs have been reused by placing an adhesive vinyl, which has resulted in a saving of over 80%."

Also have been removed damaged, replacing reflex signals that give excellent results when driving at night and have relocated some to improve your vision, using tubes with double fold.

In relation to road markings have been used quartz spheres to promote their visibility at night and have differentiated the rails that facilitate the shift to Blas Street Rosillo.

Similarly, they have painted and placed signs in crosswalks, with emphasis on those most commonly used to move to the beach of La Colonia.

From that intersection to the center, traffic lights are synchronized to force drivers to move at the speed of 30 km / hour and up out of the city for transiting to a maximum speed of 50 Km / h.

As for Columbus Neighborhood signaling, in response to neighborhood demands, we proceeded to the rearrangement of streets, because mistakes were frequent drivers who used to enter inland end or circulating against direction.

It has also got new crosswalks so that residents can cross into the neighborhood and from the beach, also facilitating the entry and exit of students from IES Alfonso Escámez.

Clemente said that "road markings and vertical signals help optimize driving, but also improve the image of the municipality and is in response to requests from neighbors and users of these roads".
