Over 80 Eagles disadvantaged families receive toys for their children on the eve of Twelfth Night (04/01/2013)

The Department of Social Services City of Eagles and the local Red Cross board have coordinated a solidarity campaign with the goal of getting toys for disadvantaged families in the municipality.

The initiative has been joined by several groups aquiline, such as local television Tele Rock, Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel or the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users "Lady of Sorrows", among others, the latter with a contribution of $ 1,000 to be used to purchase toys.

During the morning, the mayor of Social Services, Ana Maria Miñarro, accompanied by the local Red Cross president, Miguel Molina, and the president of the Association of Housewives, Catalina Garcia, along with other members of these groups, these gifts have been delivered to 84 families, of which 79% are columbines and 21% immigrants.

A total of 140 children aged between 3 months and 15 years old, which, today, can experience the joy of having a very supportive Magi who came loaded with age-appropriate toys.
