The charge of Education of the Socialist Group, M ª Carmen Moreno, criticized the PP majority in the Assembly has rejected today in the Education Commission of the implementation of the advanced level in the extension of the Official Language School (EOI) from Eagles .
"This decision not only discriminates against students but Eagles as a municipality.'s Inconceivable that in a town like ours, with a significant tourist not enhance the knowledge of languages".
M ª Carmen Moreno explained that the Official Language School (EOI) from the Shire of Guadalentín is located in Lorca, but Eagles has an extension of it, which is taught in basic and intermediate level.
However, in the same town is not taught the advanced level, so after finishing the intermediate level, students have to travel to Eagles Lorca to continue their studies.
Moreno said that this situation causes many of them drop out, unable to move to Lorca.
In Eagles are more than 50 people interested in pursuing the advanced level of the EOI.
In other municipalities as Torre Pacheco, Cieza Yecla or already implemented.
M ª Carmen Moreno lamented that Eagles is an exception, while criticized the inaction and lack of management Eagles PP to the Ministry which has caused Eagles discriminated against and relegated again in the regional context.
