The play "The Three-Cornered Hat," a musical performance of "Trio Bacarise" with Angel Francisco López and the Third Regional Mountain Bike Marathon "City of Eagles" are some of the proposals for the next few days, in addition to the Fiestas de la Cruz de Mayo in the hamlet of Calabardina.
Eagles host during the weekend a large number of cultural and sporting events, in addition to events organized in the village of Calabardina, on the occasion of the Festival de la Cruz de Mayo.
Among the highlights of the coming days it is worth noting the following:
Friday May 11:
At 21:30 pm in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena," the company "Morpheus Theatre Classic" will perform "The Three-Cornered Hat" immortal work of the nineteenth century and the Spanish writer Pedro Antonio de Alarcón, based on the known Castilian romance of the milling and the mayor.
The price of tickets, which can be purchased, in advance, in "Almeida Travel" or from two hours before the performance, in the Auditorium box office itself, will be 12 euros and 10 euros pit boxes.
Saturday May 12:
At 21.00 pm in the Auditorium and Congress Centre "Infanta Elena" concert "Trio Bacarise" with Angel Francisco López Soler, who will perform works by Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Sarasate and David Popper.
Tickets can be purchased at the price of 6 euros, in the Auditorium box office itself, from two hours before the show.
From 21:30 pm in the hamlet of Calabardina moraga sardines and popular festival, with performances of the group "No Solution" and crews "Marina de Cope" and "Cuesta de Gos".
Sunday May 13:
At 9:30 pm, leaving from the football field, "Buitrago Brothers", III Regional Mountain Bike Marathon "City of Eagles" with the participation of nearly 200 athletes who travel a circuit of 57 km roads, avenues and paths of the municipality.
Delivery of trophies to the top finishers, will be held on 12'45 am in such facilities.
The schedule of events planned for this Sunday, May 13, in Calabardina, on the occasion of the Festival de la Cruz de Mayo, are:
09'00 am: Chocolate with churros.
10:30 pm: Holy Mass.
11:30 am: Procession with the Cross of May and the Virgen del Carmen.
13.00 hours: Delivery of commemorative plaques.
14.30: Giant paella for all, the price of 3 Euros per ration.
