The Neighborhood Association Aquilegia AVA-Citizen Forum proposes that the City Council Eagles Eagles to sign with the name "Spanish Football 2010" a main street or town square Eagles, having proclaimed the national team soccer champion in the World Cup, achieving a milestone that even transcends the boundaries of mere sport, and taking into account also the attachment that has the sport in the history hawk.
AVA considers this application fully justified, given the excellent results obtained by the National Team, as a tribute to the players for the success and merits made, to give a clear example of effort, humility, dedication, solidarity, sacrifice and teamwork, and appreciation for having been able to unite millions of Spanish of all ages, sex and status in support of the practice and competition of sport.
The Neighborhood Association requested all groups, organizations and associations columbines, as well as political groups, civic groups, and residents generally support this petition, which has already been formally presented by the President of AVA in the General Register Eagle City Council, in order that a future Full Council adopt the formal agreement necessary.
