An agent of the Civil Guard assigned to the Main Post of Eagles, while practicing sports during his free day, has recovered the payments of a soccer club of Águilas, which had been stolen and would be valued at approximately 20,000 euros.
The events took place early in the morning in the ravine that separates the east and west beaches of Águilas, when a citizen security prevention agent from the local post who was on weekly rest and was practicing sports found a object that raised its suspicions, reason why it decided to stop its training and to approach to verify of which it was.
Immediately verified that it was a strong box that had been forced and that there were several cards scattered, so he proceeded to collect them and deposit them in official offices to avoid misappropriation by third parties who could be found by chance.
Once in the barracks it was found that the objects found could have been stolen from a local football club, so they contacted the sports institution, whose managers filed the corresponding complaint for the theft suffered.
When showing the cards found, the managers of the club verified that it was the season tickets, stating that the value of the tickets amounted to a total of 20,000 euros, which were returned to the club after processing the corresponding complaint.
The Civil Guard has opened an investigation to clarify the criminal act denounced with the identification and arrest of its perpetrators.
The proceedings and the objects recovered have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Lorca (Murcia).
