On December 5, the 6th Mental Health Association Short Contest, "FEAFES en corto", was held at the Santa Lucía Hospital in Cartagena, organized by the Murcian Federation of Mental Health of the Region of Murcia and the Association Ápices from Cartagena.
More than 300 people from all over the region attended the event, in which the participating associations displayed a good dose of creativity and a sense of humor.
10 short films with varied themes were screened, from the most current social topics, such as labor insertion, to others of more playful content, such as parodies and musicals.
At the end of the projections, representatives of each association collected an award in recognition of the work done by political personalities and health specialists from the hospital itself
For the preparation of the short of our association, since last year, AFEMAC is fortunate to have the collaboration of professional photographer Carlos Aledo, who has had the generosity to take charge of the direction and production of the short film.
From AFEMAC Mental Health, we would like to thank Carlos for his disinterested support and we declare the defense of any form of artistic expression as a tool to enjoy good mental health.
