The Department of Health of the City of Águilas has initiated a deratization campaign of the sewerage network that began yesterday and that will last for the next three weeks extending to all urban areas of the municipality of Águilas.
With this action - said the mayor of the area, Rosalía Casado - is to develop a crash plan that works as a complement to the actions that, in specific areas and meeting specific needs, are carried out on a regular basis once a week .
From the Department of Health have reminded the public the importance of these actions are completed with public awareness.
"It is essential to respect the schedules of garbage removal and avoid depositing garbage on public roads as this type of incivilities favor the appearance of rodents and insects in our municipality."
