The recognition, which took place in the courtyard of the school, was attended by the first aquiline mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, the councilor for education, Cristóbal Casado, as well as the daughters, father and other relatives of Andrés.
Moreno highlighted the great educational career of Miras, which was reflected in the love of the words dedicated by his students.
To finish the act, a plaque made of ceramic with the drawing of a mandarin, his favorite tree and a poetic composition made by his students was discovered, which reads as follows:
In honor of Mr. Andrés Miras
prophet of love and humility
loved and respected in reality
for being who he is, nothing more.
Nothing more and nothing less
because he was always ... without being
we all still love him
and we name without ceasing.
With this simple mandarin
we want to symbolize
to the master to whom the destiny
he took to the divine world
because he only knew how to love.
