The mayor of the Aquiline Consistory and the Minister of Education visited this morning the School of Early Childhood and Primary Education of the town to check the status after the works that the Community has carried out.

The actions have allowed to solve the possible leaks in the sanitation installation in the toilets of the second floor, with the appearance of dampness in the first floor and corridor.
In addition, a new waterproof sheet has been placed on the roof, due to the apparent surface wear of the existing one, which has improved the waterproofing, giving it greater durability.
The leaks of waters produced by the rains have also been solved next to one of the downspouts that caused the appearance of leaks and humidity in the lower classroom.
In both actions repaired the interior linings affected with the chopping and replacement.
In the north façade, the coatings affected by leaks and repaired ledges and cornices have been repaired, correcting the risk of landslides.
The works have cost 31,051 euros and were awarded to the company Lirola Ingenieria y Obras, SL in September.
The counselor has highlighted "the willingness of the entire educational community during these months" and thanked the "patience for the inconvenience that have been derived from the works."
Martínez-Cachá has also announced that, according to the budget for this year, the comprehensive rehabilitation of the toilets for the summer of 2018 and the façade, whose execution is scheduled for 2019, is planned.
In relation to the façade of the building, once the risk of landslides has been corrected with the works carried out, it is intended to make an assessment of its aesthetic rehabilitation and to carry out the works as soon as possible.
Given the magnitude of the work, it will be necessary to do it in a sufficiently long vacation period that does not preclude the teaching activity, which means that it must be carried out during the summer months.
The action will require a first award procedure for the contracting of architectural services to draft the basic and execution project, with its corresponding supervision, and a subsequent procedure for awarding the work through an open procedure.
