The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the ediles de Urbanismo, Service Providers and Citizen Participation Companies, Tomás Consentino, Isabel Fernández and Luis López, respectively, have presented this morning the project of landscape regeneration that is being carried out in The Collados and that contemplates an integral action in a green zone of more than 15,000 meters.
The first aquiline mayor has been in charge of making known the details of this important project, the result of a process of citizen participation as they have been the neighbors themselves, through various neighborhood meetings, responsible for determining the needs of the area .
The project will be developed in six phases, the first of which has begun this week, and includes the implantation of native trees and shrubs forming pebbles;
the creation of trails and recreation areas equipped with equipment and furniture;
the creation of a playground for children;
the establishment of leisure areas, outdoor sports and games of petanque;
and the creation of a canine recreation area.
