As of July 1, the cleaning service of the town will be reinforced with the implementation of a cleaning program that, as announced yesterday by the mayor of Companies Service Providers, Isabel Fernandez, guarantees "the complete flushing and disinfection Of all the streets of the locality, at least once every two weeks, so that there is no difference between some areas and others in the municipality. "

This program, which complements the mixed sweep presented last week, supposes, continued Fernandez, "the fulfillment of equity commitment in the maintenance of neighborhoods acquired with citizens."

As for the development of the same, which, they have insisted, supposes an addition to the cleaning work already done, has divided the municipality into fourteen sectors.

"In each of these sectors, at least once every two weeks, a full disinfection will be carried out," assured the manager of the Urban Environment, Angel Navarro.

In order to properly develop these cleaning works, three new vehicles will be used to add to the existing flora.

This is, in particular, a tank with a capacity of 10,000 liters of water that will allow manual flushing with hose, irrigation and disinfection;

A high-pressure cleaning truck to remove stains;

And a vehicle, also hydro-cleaner, of small dimensions to be able to accede to the zones of the old town, mainly cabezos, mills and zone of the castle.

In the same way, and also with the aim of showing Aguilas a careful image and free of unpleasant odors, the City Council will install in the next few days three pipicans equipped with an electrical system that allows, once the dog has fulfilled his needs , Activate a cleaning system.

Finally, the first aquiline mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, has made an appeal to the citizens.

"We are convinced that this service can give very good results but it is essential that citizens also participate by maintaining a civic attitude and respect for our environment," the mayor concluded.
